CBSE 2026 Exam Postponed Update: Amid the ongoing Iran-US-Israel crisis, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has postponed CBSE Class 10 and 12 examinations in the Middle East until 2026. The board issued a notice to all school principals in Bahrain, Iran, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE. The notice reads, "Students and schools are informed that due to the prevailing situation in some parts of the Middle East (Bahrain, Iran, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE), the Board has decided to postpone the Class 10 and 12 examinations scheduled for March 2, 2026. The new dates will be announced later."

The notice further states, "The Board will review the situation on March 3 and take an appropriate decision regarding the examinations scheduled to be held from March 5."

Earlier today, March 1, 2026, CBSE highlighted a fake circular circulating on social media, which stated that the CBSE 10th and 12th board exams had been cancelled due to the ongoing war in the Middle East. In a post on 'X' (formerly known as Twitter), the Board stated that the circular was fake and that an official notification regarding the status of exams in the Middle East would be issued on its official website, cbse.gov.in.
