CBSE has cancelled the CTET exam at two exam centres due to some unavoidable reasons. The exam centres are in Bihar, namely, Vaishali (Hajipur) (125016 – St. John’s Academy, Basmati Nagar) and 125014 – Lakshya International Academy. CBSE willbe conducting re-examination within 15 days for candidates from these two centres. 

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will provide the CTET marksheets and eligibility certificates to shortlisted candidates in digital format in their Digilocker account.

Once the answer key is out, candidates can use the following marking scheme to calculate their scores in CTET 2026.

1. For each correct answer, +1 mark is awarded.

2. There will be no negative marking for wrong answers.

3. Unanswered questions will not be given any mark.

4. Calculate the cumulative score after allotting marks.

The CTET 2026 was conducted for candidates aiming to secure teaching eligibility for Classes 1 to 8. Paper 1 was meant for Classes 1 to 5, while Paper 2 was for Classes 6 to 8. 

The passing marks for the OBC category in CTET 2026 are 55%. OBC candidates must score 82 out of a total of 150 marks to qualify. Those in the OBC category who score less than 82 will be disqualified.

The CBSE will accept only paid challenges made during the stipulated time. Challenges without payment of the fee and those submitted on any other medium will not be considered.

Step 5: Download the provisional key for your specific paper.

Step 6: Save the same for future reference.

The objection window to raise challenges against CTET provisional key will be opened soon after the provisional key 2026 is released. The objection window will remain open for 2-3 days.

When released candidates who have appeared for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test can check the provisional key when released through the official website of CBSE CTET at ctet.nic.in.
