CTET September Exam Dates 2026: The Central Board of Secondary Education is expected to release the revised exam schedule for the CTET September session 2026. Following the reopening of the registration portal on August 25, the earlier exam date was postponed. Lakhs of candidates are now awaiting the announcement of the exam date after the conclusion of the registration process on September 1, 2026. As of today, there has not been any official notification announcing the fresh exam dates for the CTET 2026.
Where To Check CTET Revised Exam Dates 2026?
Once the board finalises the exam schedule, it will announce the exam dates through its official website at ctet.nic.in. Candidates can expect announcements in the coming days. Once declared, they can check the exam dates and timings and accordingly start their preparation.
CTET September 2026 Admit Card
The Board will release the CTET admit cards for the September 2026 session a few weeks before the exam day. Candidates who have completed their online registration process at ctet.nic.in will be able to access their admit cards using their login details. Before that, the exam city slip will be issued. Applicants must check the official portal for any updates related to the exam schedule and city slip.
Exam Will Be Held Across Shifts
The exam will be held in two shifts. The first shift is scheduled from 9:30 am to 12:00 pm, while the second shift is scheduled from 2:30 pm to 5:00 pm. Candidates appearing for the first shift must report to the exam center 120 minutes early, i.e., at 7:30 am. Candidates appearing for the second shift must report to the exam center at 12:30 pm. CBSE conducts CTET to determine candidates’ eligibility for teaching posts for Classes 1 to 8.
