As per the latest Notice, the release date of the GATE 2026 admit card has been postponed. The revised release date will be announced soon

The Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE 2026) admit card will be available soon on the official portal- gate2026.iitg.ac.in.

 GATE 2026 will be conducted for 30 test papers. A candidate is allowed to appear in either one or up to two test papers.

The GATE 2026 score will remain valid for three years from the date of result announcement. After the validity period expires, no score-related information will be available. Candidates are advised to preserve an electronic copy of their scorecard for future academic or recruitment purposes.

The process to download can be checked below:

-Visit the official GATE page

-Click on the GOAPS login and enter the credentials: enrollment ID and password.

-The admit card link will be displayed on the screen.

-Check all details and download GATE exam hall ticket

All the test papers of GATE 2026 will be of a duration of three hours, consisting of 65 questions for a total of 100 marks. after 

GATE 2026 will be conducted for 30 test papers (subjects). A candidate can appear for one or two (as per combinations given in Table 4) of the 30 test papers.

GATE 2026 question papers will include multiple choice questions, multiple select questions and numerical answer type questions. MCQs will carry negative marking, while MSQs and NAT questions will not. All questions will carry either one or two marks, with no partial marking allowed.

 The admit card was scheduled to be released on January 2, 2026, but has been postponed.

As per media reports, the admit card will be issued by tomorrow, January 7, 2026. An official confirmation on the same is expected soon. Candidates need to login with the following
