KCET Result 2026: The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) is expected to declare the Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) 2026 results between May 20 and May 25, 2026. The official confirmation is still awaited by over 3 lakh candidates who appeared for the exam on April 23 and 24, 2026. As per recent updates, the board is currently validating candidate data sheets. Once the results are announced, the scorecards will be available on cetonline.karnataka.gov.in/kea, or kea.kar.nic.in, and karresults.nic.in. 

The KCET results 2026 will be announced via a press conference. During this, the final ranks, pass percentages, and toppers list will also be shared. Followed by the direct portal link to view individual scorecards will go active later in the day.

KCET Result 2026: Steps To Download

Candidates can follow the given steps to download their KCET rank cards from the official portal:

Step 1: Go to the KEA official portal at kea.kar.nic.in.

Step 2: On the homepage, click on the “KCET Result 2026” link.

Step 3: Enter your Application Number and the first four characters of your name.

Step 4: The rank card will appear on the screen. 

Step 5: View and download it for future reference.

KEA Asks Candidates To Update Class 12 Marks

KEA has issued an advisory asking CBSE, CISCE, and other state board candidates who have passed Class 12th to update their Class 12th marks through the official portal. To complete the process, a link has been provided on the KEA website.

Candidates need to log in to the official portal and enable DigiLocker permission so that their marks can be fetched automatically. Marit will be decided based on these marks, as stated by the authorities. Students must note that there is no facility to submit the marks manually or submit a copy of the report card.  

How KCET 2026 Rank Cards Calculated?

The rank cards are calculated using the 50:50 weightage system. Candidate's core subject scores (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/Biology) has the 50% weightage in KCET, while the rest 50% is evaluated from the standardized 2nd PUC (Class 12) board exam marks.
