The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) is likely to release the NEET PG 2025 counselling schedule PDF today, October 22, 2025. However, the official announcement is awaited. Once released, students can check round-wise dates and timings here.

For candidates applying under the Persons with Benchmark Disability (PwBD) category, MCC has mandated the following:

-The NEET PG 2025 result card.

-A valid UDID (Unique Disability ID) card.

-Self-certified affidavits in the prescribed format, including disability-specific affidavits.

Candidates participating under All India Quota (AIQ), Deemed University, and ESIC quota counselling for NEET PG 2025 can now register on the official MCC website – mcc.nic.in

Registration and choice filling are mandatory steps to take part in the centralised counselling process.

Under the proposed policy, candidates will be required to sign a bond of Rs 50 lakh at the time of admission. Upon completion of their postgraduate course, doctors must serve for two years in assigned hospitals.

NEET PG seat matrix for counsleling means total number of seats which will be allotted under each speciality course. The seat matrix also defines the number of seats that are available for a particular category of candidates. It will be released before each round for NEET PG counselling 2024. Referring to the NEET PG seat matrix 2025 before filling the options in the preference form will help candidates determine the chances of getting the desired speciality with their score.

A total of 52,244 seats will be filled through NEET PG counselling 2025. According to the NMC-approved matrix, India has 49,907 MD, MS, and PG diploma seats, with 2,337 additional seats approved for 2025-26.

The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has announced the admission rules and fee details of St John's Medical College Bengaluru for admission to postgraduate (PG) medical courses.

The Supreme Court of India has scheduled its next hearing on the transparency plea in the NEET PG exam for 28 October 2025, focusing on evaluation disclosure issues. 

In the Telangana NEET PG 2025 counseling process, all candidates seeking admission to postgraduate courses will be required to sign a bond to avoid seat blocking. Candidates who withdraw from their course after the second round of counseling will be required to pay a penalty of ₹50 lakh. This bond applies to both government and private medical colleges.

NBEMS has cancelled NEET PG results of 22 candidates from 2021 to 2025, including 13 in 2025, for using unfair means during the examination across multiple sessions.

The counselling process for NEET PG 2025 will include multiple stages:

1. Visit the official website at mcc.nic.in.
2. Click on the link for “PG Medical Counselling 2025.”
3. Select the 'New Registration' option for Round 1.
4. Enter the required details such as NEET PG roll number, application number, and date of birth.
5. Check the form before final submission

There will be four rounds of counselling; round 1, 2, 3 and stray vacancy round. Candidates can submit fresh applications for the first three rounds; however, no fresh applications will be accepted for the stray round.

The Supreme Court of India will hear the NEET PG 2025 transparency plea on October 28, 2025. During the last hearing, the Supreme Court of India gave NBEMS two weeks time to submit their response.

Step 4: For rearranging the order of choice filled, just drag it to the desired position

-There are two components of the registration fee, refundable and non-refundable

The conversion of seats will be carried out during the online third round. The said conversion will be done only when the eligible Candidates belonging to the said Category have been exhausted. The algorithm for conversion of category is as follows: 

i. 50% All India Quota seats contributed by states.

ii. 50%Seats of BHU

iii. 50%Seats of AMU

iv. 50% All India Quota seats of DU/Central Institutes (VMMC & SJH, ABVIMS & RML, ESIC-Basaidarapur)

v. 100% DNB vi. 100% Deemed Universities seats

Registration for Round 1 of PG Counselling 2025 has commenced. Candidates are advised to carefully go through the Information Bulletin for PG Counselling 2025 before proceeding with the registration process.
