JEE Main 2027 Registration: Through an official notice, the National Testing Agency (NTA) has allowed already registered candidates to submit a fresh application form for the JEE Main Session 1 2027 exam, even if they have paid the JEE application fee. This decision follows multiple complaints from applicants regarding errors in their submitted application forms. Further, the agency has clarified that it will treat every fresh application as a separate registration and generate a new application number for the respective candidates.
Eligible candidates must log in to the official NTA portal and re-enter all details. However, the examination fee paid earlier will not be refunded or adjusted against the fresh application fee. For new applications, candidates must pay the application fee again through online gateways.
JEE Main 2027 Registration Timeline
The last date to submit the JEE Main Session 1 application form without a late fee is November 22, 2026, up to 11:50 PM. Meanwhile, with late fees, applicants can submit the registration form between November 23 and November 26, 2026, up to 11:50 PM. Candidates must ensure that they complete the registration process within the prescribed deadline. NTA has also said that the JEE Main Session application form 2027 will be accepted only after successful payment of the registration fee.
JEE Main 2027 Correction Window
Following the completion of the registration process, NTA will open the correction window from November 27 to 29. During this time, candidates can edit or modify details submitted during registration. However, only particular details can be rectified. Once the window closes, the submitted details will be considered final and used for further processing.
Only One Attempt Per Session
NTA has reiterated that candidates are only allowed one attempt per session for the JEE Main 2027 Exam. Submitting multiple application forms does not give them an additional opportunity to take the test. Regardless of this, if a candidate is found to be taking the exam with more than one application number, he/she will be processed under Unfair Means (UFM), and action will be taken accordingly.
For further details regarding fresh registration, fee payment, or applications, candidates can contact the agency at the Help Desk at 011-40759000 or 011-69227700 or write an email at jeemain@nta.ac.in.
