NEET UG 2026 Paper Leak: Special Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) Judge Ajay Gupta has reserved the order on framing of charges in the NEET UG paper leak case after hearing submissions from the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) and the counsel for the accused, Sheshrao Bajrang Suryavanshi. A supplementary charge sheet was filed against him following his arrest on September 2.
Senior Public Prosecutor V K Pathak appeared for the CBI. The court has already heard submissions regarding the other 13 accused charge-sheeted by the CBI in the main charge sheet. The agency subsequently filed a supplementary charge sheet against Suryavanshi.
CBI Alleges Accused Supplied Leaked Questions Before Exam
According to the CBI, Sheshrao Suryavanshi is an alleged close associate of accused Shubham Khairnar and provided the purported NEET UG 2026 leaked questions to candidates before the examination. Suryavanshi is stated to be from Pune, Maharashtra.
The agency said that during his custodial interrogation, it was revealed that Suryavanshi allegedly arranged the purported leaked questions for various candidates before the examination and collected money from the candidates or their families in criminal conspiracy with Khairnar.
Candidates Allegedly Taken to Nanded House
The CBI has further alleged that Suryavanshi brought candidates to a house in Nanded, where the purported leaked questions were supplied to them. According to the agency, he had collected the candidates' original documents and educational certificates as security for subsequent payment.
The agency submitted that further investigation into the arrested accused and his close associates was at a crucial stage. It also stated that Suryavanshi had close links with charge-sheeted accused Shubham Madhukar Khairnar.

Names of Other 13 Accused in the Case
The 13 other accused charge-sheeted by the CBI in the main charge sheet are Manisha Mandhare, Manisha Sanjay Hawal dar, Manisha Waghmare, Prahalad Kulkarni, Shivraj Raghunath Motegaonkar, Dr Manoj Shirure, Tejas Harshad Shah, Shubham Khairnar, Dhananjay Lokhande, Yash Yadav, Mangilal Biwal, Dinesh Biwal and Vikas Biwal.
The court has heard submissions concerning these accused and has now reserved its order on framing of charges against Suryavanshi.
