JEE Registration 2027: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has introduced the MeriPehchaan single sign-on service to facilitate the registration procedure for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2027. The MeriPehchaan initiative aims to streamline candidate registration by enabling the use of unified login credentials through a digital identity platform. Candidates seeking to participate in the JEE Main 2027 Session 1 examination must finalise their registration on the official website by November 22, 2026, or earlier.

MeriPehchaan represents a single sign-on platform created under the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), Government of India. The platform consolidates identity and authentication services, including JanParichay, DigiLocker, and e-Pramaan, thereby providing users with a unified access point for eligible online services.

What Is MeriPehchaan and How Does It Help?

According to the information bulletin for JEE Main 2027, this platform facilitates electronic 'Know Your Customer' (eKYC) verification by using recognized identity documents and processes, such as Aadhaar, Permanent Account Number (PAN), driving license, and APAAR.

Candidates are advised to review the available verification options and follow the on-screen instructions during the registration process.

How to Register on MeriPehchaan for JEE Main 2027?

Candidates who do not possess an existing MeriPehchaan account should commence by accessing the official portal at meripehchaan.gov.in and selecting the 'Register Now' option. They must subsequently select an identity service provider: DigiLocker, e-Pramaan, or JanParichay. The chosen provider will facilitate the account creation process.

Thereafter, candidates must furnish personal information including name, date of birth, and mobile number, followed by identity verification via Aadhaar, PAN, or driving licence, contingent upon the selected provider. The submitted information must correspond with official identity documents to prevent authentication complications.

The information entered should match official identity documents to avoid authentication issues. Once the account is set up, candidates should return to the official JEE Main 2027 website to continue the online application.
