School Holidays in Jharkhand (October 2026): 

Several holidays have been declared for the month of October in the schools of Jharkhand state owing to the holiday season. As per the schedule provided by the Jharkhand government, schools will be closed on 2nd October on account of Mahatma Gandhi Jayanti.

Further, schools will be closed on 19th and 20th October on account of Durga Puja; but some schools start Durga Puja holidays from Saptami.

School Holidays in Bihar (October 2026):
