SSC JE 2026 Exam City Intimation Slip: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has officially released the exam city slip for the SSC JE Paper 1 examination scheduled from 2 November to 6 November 2026. Registered candidates must download the SSC JE city intimation slip from the SSC official portal at ssc.gov.in using their registered credentials. Knowing their allotted exam city before the JE exam will help candidates plan their travel conveniently and arrange tickets and accommodation accordingly. 

Meanwhile, the admit card will be released around two or three days before the exam day. Candidates must note that the city intimation slip will only inform candidates about their allotted exam city. To appear in the SSC JE examination, admit cards along with government-issued ID are mandatory.

How To Download SSC JE 2026 Exam City Intimation Slip?

Using the following steps, candidates can download their exam city slip via the SSC official portal.

Step 1: Visit the official website at ssc.gov.in and click on the login option on the homepage.

Step 2: Enter your registered username or registration details and password.

Step 3: Open the designated login module for the Junior Engineer Examination 2026. 

Step 4: Check the examination city details displayed on the dashboard.

Step 5: Download and save it for future reference.

SSC JE 2026 Exam Schedule

The Commission has scheduled different exam days for different papers and disciplines. The JE (Telecommunication) will be held from 30 November to 1 December 2026. The exam city slip for the JE Telecommunication paper will be released around 8 to 10 days before the scheduled exam date.

SSC JE 2026: Scribe Registration Deadline

SSC has issued new instructions for candidates who will use the scribe facility during the examination. Those who have opted for this facility have to register their scribes again on the SSC official portal. The deadline for fresh scribe registration and mapping the scribe's One-Time Registration (OTR) is October 27, 2026, at 11:00 PM. Since the Commission has integrated scribe registration with Aadhaar authentication, fresh scribe registration is mandatory.
