TNPSC Group 1 Admit Card 2026: The Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) has released the TNPSC Group 1 admit card 2026 for the Combined Civil Services Examination-I (Group-I Services). Candidates appearing for the preliminary examination on September 27 can now download their admit card from the OTR dashboard of the official TNPSC websites, tnpsc.gov.in and tnpscexams.in. They will require their application number and date of birth to log in. Candidates must note that a printed copy of the e-admit card along with a valid ID proof is mandatory on the exam day for verification.

The test will be held in an OMR-based model with objective questions. About 38 exam centres are allocated for the Prelims Exam across the state for the forenoon session.

Steps To Download TNPSC Group 1 Prelims Admit Card 2026

Using the following steps, applicants can download the e-admit card from the candidate login portal. 

Step 1: Go to the TNPSC official website at tnpsc.gov.in. 

Step 2: Open the One Time Registration (OTR) Dashboard and log in with the required credentials.

Step 3: Enter your application number and password.

Step 4: Your TNPSC Group 1 hall ticket 2026 will open on the screen.

Step 5: Download it and check all details carefully.

Preliminary Exam On September 27

The TNPSC Group 1 Prelims exam 2026 is scheduled for September 27, 2026, in offline, OMR-based format across Tamil Nadu. The single-paper test is a screening stage and will be conducted from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM, covering General Studies and Aptitude sections. Those who clear the preliminary examination will be eligible for the Mains Examination consisting of descriptive papers. The final selection is done based on the cumulative marks of Mains and Interviews. 

Documents To Carry On Exam Day

Candidates must carry the required documents on the exam day. These will be verified by the authorities before entry to the examination centre. 

  • TNPSC Group 1 Hall Ticket

  • Passport-size photograph

  • Any one valid photo ID such as Aadhaar Card, Voter ID, PAN Card, Driving License, or Passport

The admit card contains details such as name, photograph, examination date, centre, and other instructions on the hall ticket. Candidates must contact the concerned authorities for any discrepancies in the details mentioned on the admit card. TNPSC issued the recruitment notification on June 23, 2026, under Notification No. 05/2026.
