UP Home Guard PET 2026: In view of the ongoing monsoon conditions and waterlogging prevailing across several exam venues in the state, the Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPRPB) has once again postponed the UP Home Guard Physical Test 2026. The Board has issued an official notice on September 10 stating the deferment of the exam. The earlier schedule was September 14, 2026. Furthermore, the Board said that the revised schedule will soon be uploaded on the official portal after the weather conditions improve and the examination centres are considered fit to conduct the physical tests. Candidates are advised to follow the official website to not miss any key information related to exam dates. Earlier, the exam was rescheduled to September 14, after being postponed from September 8 due to heavy rain.
UP Home Guard Physical Test Postponed Amid Incessant Rain
Considering the incessant rain in the state and waterlogging at the examination venues, the UP Home Guard Physical Test has been postponed once again. Scheduled to begin on September 14, 2026, it has been postponed until further notice. New exam dates will be announced through an official notice on the board's website.
Revised Admit Cards Will Be Released Soon
The updated admit card for the postponed PET exam will be uploaded soon on the official portal at uppbpb.gov.in. Once out, candidates can log in with their registration credentials and download the updated admit card. Key details such as candidates’ credentials, exam centre, date, and reporting time will be mentioned on the admit card. Applicants finding any discrepancy must immediately contact the helpline number 08065075069 or the official website for rectification.
Candidates Must Continue Their Physical Preparation
Candidates must use this additional time to continue their preparation for the Physical Tests. Avoid taking unnecessary risks by practicing in wet and waterlogged areas. After the release of the fresh exam dates, candidates must reach the exam venue before the reporting time as prescribed on the admit card.
During the PET, male candidates must complete a 4.8-kilometer run in 28 minutes. Female candidates must complete a 2.4-kilometer run in 16 minutes. Candidates who fail to complete the run will be disqualified from the final list.
