RRB NTPC 2025 UG Exam Analysis ( August 7, Shift 2) OUT Highlights: Shift-wise Difficulty, Questions, Good Attempts & Review

- In the General Awareness section, Current Affairs, and Sports were important topics. Questions on computer awareness such as shortcut keys were also asked.

- In Mathematics, the important topics were Mensuration, Simplification, Data Interpretation, Statistics, Simplification, Work & Time. 

- In the reasoning section, the majority of the questions were from topics like Syllogism, Number Series, Analogy, Time & Distance, Clocks & Calendars, Blood Relations, Inequality & Seating Arrangemen

The overall difficulty level of RRB NTPC Shift 2 exam is given below.

- A total of 1.21 crore (12,167,679) applications were received for the RRB NTPC 2025 exam.

- Out of these, 58.40 lakh (5,840,861) candidates applied for graduate-level posts.

- 63.26 lakh (6,326,818) applications were submitted for 12th (undergraduate)-level posts.

- General Awareness encompasses History, Geography, Economy, Indian Polity, General Science, and Current Affairs.

- Mathematics includes Number System, Decimals, LCM, HCF, Ratios, Time and Work, Mensuration, Percentage, and Elementary Statistics.

- General Intelligence covers Analogies, Mathematical Operations, Coding-Decoding, Data Sufficiency, Syllogism, Puzzles, and Venn Diagrams for comprehensive reasoning assessment.

Today's Three-Shift Schedule Shift 1 operates from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM with 7:30 AM reporting time and 8:30 AM gate closure. Shift 2 runs from 12:45 PM to 2:15 PM, requiring candidates to report by 11:15 AM with gates closing at 12:15 PM. Shift 3 is scheduled from 4:30 PM to 6:00 PM, with 3:00 PM reporting time and 4:00 PM gate closure deadline.

Question Distribution Overview The RRB NTPC UG exam consists of 100 questions worth 100 marks, distributed across three main sections. General Awareness carries the highest weightage with 40 questions, while Mathematics and General Intelligence & Reasoning each contain 30 questions. The exam duration is 90 minutes for general candidates, extended to 120 minutes for PwBD candidates with scribes.
