CGL Tier 2 Answer Key:  The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) conducted the CGL Tier 2 examination on January 18 and 19, 2026. Candidates who sat for the exam are eagerly awaiting the answer key to calculate their scores and see how they have performed. Most probably, the Commission will release the CGL provisional answer key in the first week of February 2026. Along with the answer key, the candidates’ response sheet will also be available. 

Candidates must note that the SSC will first release the provisional answer key for Tier 2. In case candidates have objections against the provisional answer key, they are free to submit their responses within the deadline. Once all queries are resolved, the Commission will release the final answer key.

Candidates can use the following steps to download the SSC CGL answer key from the official website once it is out: 

Step 1: Visit the official website of SSC, ssc.gov.in.

Step 2: Click on the answer key link on the homepage of the website.

Step 3: Enter your login credentials and submit the form.

Step 4: The SSC CGL Tier 2 Answer Key 2025 will be displayed on your screen. 

Step 5: Download it and cross-check your answers. Evaluate how much you have scored in the exam.

SSC CGL Tier II Answer Key 2026: Steps to Submit Objections

The Staff Selection Commission allows candidates to challenge the provisional answer key if they find any incorrect answers after cross-checking it with the response sheet. The queries will be submitted through the SSC official portal only. Here is how you can submit your objections: 

Step 1: Go to the SSC official website, ssc.gov.in.

Step 2: Enter your registration number and password to log in. 

Step 3: Click on the “Answer Key Challenge” link.

Step 4: Your response sheet will appear on the screen. It will have details such as your name, roll number, exam date, exam centre, and the questions you attempted, with clear colour codes for correct, incorrect, and unattempted answers.

Step 5: Click on the option of “Challenge Question” next to the question that you want to challenge. 

Step 6: Choose the reason for objecting. Clearly state your grievance in the text box. Upload supporting documents if required.

Step 7: Fill in all the required details and pay the objection fee. 

Step 8: Download or save the confirmation receipt of your objection submission for future reference.

What is the Objection Fee for SSC CGL Tier 2 Answer Key?

After the SSC releases the Tier 2 provisional answer key, candidates will be able to submit their objections by visiting the SSC's official website, ssc.gov.in. A non-refundable fee of Rs 100 has to be paid for each question. Candidates must note that objections sent through offline modes will not be accepted.
