SSC GD Exam Dates 2026: The Staff Selection Board (SSC) has officially deferred the CAPFs and GD online examination until further notice. The Commission has not specified any reason for this, but has confirmed that new exam dates will be out soon at ssc.gov.in. 

According to the SSC official notice, there will be no slot booking option for the SSC GD Constable exam 2026. Once the new exam schedule is out, SSC will allocate exam centres and shifts to candidates.

SSC GD 2026: New Exam Dates Out Soon

With the postponement of exam dates, SSC has asked candidates to be calm as the revised exam dates will be announced soon. Earlier, the exam was scheduled for February 23, 2026, but due to some unavoidable circumstances, the dates got pushed.

The admit card and city intimation slip will be released approximately a few days before the exam. All official dates will be updated on the official portal. 

SSC GD 2026: Admit Card Release Date

SSC GD admit card 2026 will be released 2 to 3 days before the exam. Candidates can download the hall ticket using their application number and password from the SSC official portal at ssc.gov.in. It contains mandatory details like the candidate’s name, signature, photo, reporting time, application number, password, and exam day instructions. Candidates must carry their admit cards on all exam days. 

SSC GD 2026: Exam City Slip Release Date

SSC will release the exam city slip on the official portal approximately 8-10 days before the exam. It will have details of the exam centre, location, and exam timings. Knowing the exam centre location beforehand will allow candidates to plan their travel logistics accordingly. Once it

SSC Constable GD exam 2026 will be held in CBT mode across designated exam centres. The recruitment aims to fill over 25,000 vacancies across Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs), Special Security Force (SSF), and as Rifleman (GD).
