WBCS Application Correction 2025:

Applicants can modify the details mentioned in their WBPSC WBCS Application Form online, through the commission’s website between 22nd to 29th December 2025.

WBCS Selection Process 2025:

The WBPSC WBCS Selection Process is curated to shortlist the most eligible candidates for the said posts. The selection is through a three-stage process – Prelims, Mains, and Interview.

 

Prelims: It is an objective-type examination and is only qualifying in nature. The exam has a single paper for 200 marks.

Mains: It comprises objective as well as descriptive-type questions. The Mains Exam will have 8 papers (6 compulsory, 2 for an optional subject) of 200 marks each. Marks scored at this stage will be considered for merit.

Interview: It is an oral examination and a personality test. Its marks are counted for merit. For Group ‘A’ & ‘B’ posts it carries 200 marks, 150 marks for Group Cand 100 marks for Group  D posts.
