XAT Registration 2027: Xavier School of Management (XLRI), Jamshedpur, has started the Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT) 2027 registration portal today, July 15, 2026. If you are planning to target XLRI Jamshedpur or any of the 250+ accepting B-schools, it's smart to get a head start. In fact, XLRI has explicitly noted that candidates who submit their application early will receive their test city confirmation by August 5, 2026.

XAT 2027 Fee Structure:

Unlike many other national exams, XAT maintains a uniform fee structure with no category-based concessions (General, SC, ST, OBC, and PwD all pay the same base fee).

XAT Base Registration Fee: Rs 2,200 – Rs 2,300 (depending on portal processing).

XLRI Programme Fee: An additional Rs 200 – Rs 300 per specific program (e.g., BM or HRM) you wish to apply for.

GMAT/GRE Route (Indian Candidates for PGDM-GM): Rs 2,500 – Rs 2,600.

Foreign / NRI Candidates via GMAT: Rs 5,000.

Important Note: All fees must be paid online via credit/debit card, net banking, or UPI. The fee is completely non-refundable under any circumstances.

XAT Registration 2027: How to Apply?

XAT 2027 application form will be available in online mode only. Given below is the process to register and apply for the exam:


1. Visit xatonline.in and click on the 'Registration' option

2. Enter name, phone number, email ID, password and captcha code

3. A unique XAT ID and registration link will be shared on the verified email ID

4. Click on the link to verify registration

5. XAT 2027 application form will be displayed

6. Add academic details, personal details and work experience

7. Upload passport-size photo, scanned signature and a photo ID

8. Select test cities for exam centre allotment

9. Cross-check details and check the declaration box

10. Pay XAT exam fees via debit/credit card or net banking
