Yuva Sangam Phase 7 Registration 2026 offers a wonderful opportunity for the country's youth to closely experience the culture, education system, and development model of other states. The Education Ministry has begun the online application process for Yuva Sangam Phase 7, and interested and eligible youth can apply on the official Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat (EBSB) portal until August 18, 2026.


The programme is meant for youth aged 18 to 30, and students from Higher Education Institutions (HEIs), National Service Scheme (NSS) volunteers, Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan (NYKS) volunteers, young professionals, and other eligible youth can apply.

What Is The Yuva Sangam Programme?

Yuva Sangam is a flagship youth exchange programme of the Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Education. Its objective is to strengthen mutual understanding, emotional connection, and the spirit of 'Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat' among youth from different states and union territories of the country.

Under this programme, selected participants will undergo a 5 to 7-day educational and cultural trip to a state or union territory paired with their own, with travel days not included in this duration.

What Themes Will Participants Experience?

During the trip, participants will get a chance to closely understand several important aspects of the paired state, including local traditions and culture, the education system, administration and governance, innovation and technology ecosystem, industry and employment opportunities, historical and cultural heritage, and local community and lifestyle.

The programme is built around five key thematic pillars: Tourism, Tradition and Culture, Progress (Development and Governance), Interpersonal Connect, and Technology and Innovation, offering youth a chance to understand India's cultural diversity in line with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020.

Which Institutions Are Responsible And Which States Are Paired?

In this phase, 20 major higher education institutions, including IITs, IIMs, Central Universities, and NITs, have been made nodal institutions, responsible for hosting participants and running the entire exchange programme. States and union territories have been paired for this exchange, including Uttar Pradesh with Kerala, Madhya Pradesh with Karnataka, Assam with Telangana, Goa with Mizoram, Rajasthan with Sikkim, Jammu-Kashmir and Ladakh with Maharashtra, West Bengal with Uttarakhand, Chandigarh with Gujarat, Himachal Pradesh with Odisha, and Delhi with Tamil Nadu.

Yuva Sangam Programme Phase 7: Who Can Apply?

Eligible youth aged 18 to 30 can apply for this programme, including students from higher education institutions, NSS volunteers, NYKS volunteers, young professionals, and other eligible youth interested in experiencing India's diverse culture through this exchange initiative.
