Adipurush Screening Delay Fallout: Following the release of the epic drama Adipurush, featuring Prabhas in the lead role, there have been multiple reports of disturbances and disruptions in movie theatres for various reasons. One such incident occurred in Telangana, where fans of Prabhas resorted to vandalism after a technical issue caused a delay in the screening of the film.

Directed by Om Raut, Adipurush boasts an ensemble cast including Kriti Sanon, Saif Ali Khan, Sunny Singh, and Devdutt Nage. The film's grand release on Friday resulted in an astounding global box office collection of Rs 140 crore.

As reported by India Today, a group of Prabhas fans caused damage to Jyothi Cinema in Sangareddy, Telangana. The fans broke window panes, resulting in shattered glass within the theatre premises. The theatre management explained that the screening of the film was postponed by 40 minutes due to a technical issue. The report further mentions that the police have filed a case against those responsible for the incident, and an investigation is currently in progress.

Earlier, in a video circulating online, an incident was recorded where a man was physically assaulted by a group of people after he criticised the film's shortcomings. The viewer expressed his opinion, stating that Prabhas did not suit the role of Ram, comparing it to his regal portrayal in the film Baahubali. He also mentioned his disappointment with the director, Om Raut, for not presenting Prabhas effectively.

Additionally, the viewer mentioned that he didn't enjoy the film much, except for a few scenes featuring Hanuman and the background score. These comments sparked a heated argument between him and other fans of the Telugu star, ultimately escalating into a physical altercation. However, the authenticity of the video has not been verified.

In another incident, a spectator was subjected to physical assault for occupying the seat reserved for Hanuman inside the movie theatre. The incident was captured on video and has since been widely shared on social media platforms. As a gesture of reverence, the producers of the film have chosen to designate one seat exclusively for Hanuman in every screening.

According to ANI, the president of NGO Sangharsh, Prithviraj Maske, has registered a formal complaint at the Andheri police station in Mumbai against the producer-director of Adipurush. Maske alleged that specific sections of the film were disrespectful towards Hindu sentiments.
