Bigg Boss 13 contestant Paras Chhabra, who recently made headlines due to his split with Mahira Sharma, has now purchased a new house. Paras opted to move to his new home on the auspicious day of Hanuman Jayanti. The actor performed a brief puja on the propitious occasion as he relocated to his new abode and posted some images from the "Grah Pravesh" ceremony on his Instagram story.
The image depicts Paras standing before idols of Hindu deities. As his mother is also present in Mumbai, so he posted a picture featuring one of his friends posing with her during the puja. The actor recently confirmed to Bombay Times that he has indeed purchased a new house in Mumbai, as well as in Vrindavan, his hometown in Mathura.
He told Bombay Times, "I have purchased a luxury car for myself along with a house in Vrindavan. Plus, I am really excited about this project that I am about to sign which I will be announcing soon to everyone. So, I am in a very happy zone at the moment. I just wished aisa kuch nahi hua hota iss time pe about which I am equally shocked. But things with Mahira will be back to normal soon."
Talking about Mahira unfollowing him on social media and deleteding their pictures together, he said, "I am equally puzzled and shocked by the news. I don't know why Mahira unfollowed me or deleted our pictures from her social media. I shifted to Mumbai on April 1 and Mahira shifted on March 15.
“Since then I have been pretty busy and unpacking my stuff and arranging things here. My mom too has come here to stay with me while Mahira is staying with her mom. We both had been extremely busy managing stuff in Mumbai as it is almost after three years that we will be living here."
Mahira and Paras first met on the reality TV series Bigg Boss 13 and developed a strong friendship that has persisted for three years after the show ended. Fans were enamoured with their connection and romantic chemistry.
The former couple went on to collaborate on several music videos following their time on the show. While they never confirmed the rumours of their romantic involvement, they always stated that their relationship was more than just friendship. The announcement of their separation has stunned and saddened their devoted fans, known as "Pahira."
