New Delhi | Jagran Entertainment Desk: Bollywood actors Siddhant Chaturvedi, Ananya Pandey and Deepika Padukone have been roped in Shakun Batra's upcoming film, giving us a never-seen trio on-screen. The untitled film will be co-produced by Apoorva Mehta and ace filmmaker Karan Johar. Confirming the report, Bollywood Trade Analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted,"IT'S OFFICIAL... #DeepikaPadukone, #SiddhantChaturvedi and #AnanyaPanday in Shakun Batra’s next film [not titled yet]... Shakun [#EkMainAurEkkTu, #KapoorAndSons] will also produce the film with Karan Johar and Apoorva Mehta... Starts 2020... 12 Feb 2021 release [#ValentinesDay]."
The film will go on floors next year and slated to release on February 12, 2021.
Actress Ananya Pandey, who began her journey with Student of The Year 2, is banking on the success of her latest release Pati Patni Aur Woh beside Kartik Aaryan and Bhumi Pednekar. As of now, she is busy filming Khaali Peeli opposite Ishaan Khatter.
Siddhant Chaturvedi rose to fame with his performance as a rapper in Gully Boy and is preparing for the 'Bunty Aur Babli 2' remake.
Meanwhile, Deepika is gearing up for her upcoming biographical film-- Chhapaak-- based on acid attack survivor Laxmi Agarwal, scheduled to hit the theatres on January 10 next year. The actress will also star beside her husband Ranveer Singh in Kabir Khan's 83-- based on the success of the Indian Cricket Team that emerged as the champions of the 1983 World Cup. It also features other stars such as Hardy Sandhu, Sahil Khatter, among others.
Taking about Shakun Batra, she has directed three popular movies so far in the industry, they are Jaane Tu... ya Jaane na, Ek Mai Aur Ekk Tu, Rock On!!, Don 2 and Kapoor & Sons.
