Emergency Box Office Collection Day 10: Kangana Ranaut's political drama Emergency has managed to maintain its pace despite facing fierce competition from Akshay Kumar's aerial actioner Sky Force.
Emergency showed a strong hike, suggesting that moviegoers are still inclined to watch Kangana Ranaut's movie.

The political drama, which examines India's turbulent Emergency era, has made an estimated Rs 16.74 crore thus far in India. The historical docu-drama had a dismal start to its second week, earning barely Rs 40 lakh on Friday after earning Rs 14.3 crore in its first week.
The Republic Day holiday, which fell on Sunday, provided an additional boost, contributing Rs 1.19 crore on Sunday. Emergency is getting closer to the Rs 20 crore milestone, with its 10-day total now at about Rs 16.70 crore so far. Emergency had an overall 23.08% Hindi occupancy on Sunday, January 26, 2025.

Being in the spotlight even before it was released, Emergency is one of the most talked-about movies of the past several years. With the highest opening day receipts, it broke previous records set by Kangana Ranaut's previous movies released in the last five years.
In comparison to weekdays, the historical docu-drama has made a respectable sum on day 10, and it has the potential to surpass day 9's earnings, which witnessed a growth of over 112%.
The Akshay Kumar, Veer Pahariya's movie already earned more on Sunday i.e. Republic Day than it did on Saturday. Industry tracker sacnilk claimed that Sky Force's increased revenue is due to the significant discount the producers were providing on online ticket purchases.
Sky Force has already surpassed Rs 60 crore mark within three days while Kangana Ranaut's Emergency struggles to hit Rs 20 crore mark even after 10 days.
