Fighter First Look: 'Fighter' is currently one of the most awaited movies and it is all set to hit the theatres within a few months. The makers of 'Fighter' have created more hype about the film by dropping the first-look posters of Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone on Tuesday. Anil Kapoor, who will be seen in a pivotal role in 'Fighter' has now unveiled his first look from the film. The actor will essay the role of Group Captain Rakesh Jai Singh in the film.
Sharing the poster, Anil Kapoor wrote on Instagram, "Group Captain Rakesh Jai Singh, Call Sign: Rocky, Designation: Commanding Officer, Unit: Air Dragons. Fighter Forever."
Earlier, in an interview with India Today, director Sidharth Anand gave some details about Hrithik and Deepika's character. “Deepika is also playing an Air Force officer. She’s part of the elite unit of the Air Force, and it’s based on a lot of reality and authenticity. Something that Deepika has also bitten into," he said.
He added, "It is something that she’s not played before. And honestly, it’s a lot like her in real life, the character that she’s playing. She’s so much fun on set and she’s translating that character to be a real good takkar to Hrithik’s character, so it is very exciting. It’s fun!”

The filmmaker gave a blockbuster with 'Pathaan' and revealed that 'Fighter' will be different from Shah Rukh Khan-starrer. He earlier revealed that 'Fighter' is something different from 'Pathaan'. "'Fighter' is a one of its kind film. I am so happy that after 'Pathaan', my next is 'Fighter'. We managed to set a certain benchmark with 'Pathaan' in the action front and 'Fighter' is something just so different," he told Pinkvilla.
'Fighter' will release in theatres on January 25, 2024. The movie was earlier scheduled to release in September 2023 but got postponed.
