Griha Laxmi OTT Release: Hina Khan is all set to make a blockbuster comeback with the crime thriller web series Griha Laxmi. The show talks about a housewife who enters the world of drugs and crime. Hina, who is battling with cancer, will be seen in a never-before-seen avatar. She will be seen doing a powerful character (the role of a housewife) who enjoys being in a powerful position. The crime thriller will be released on OTT platform EPIC ON on January 16, 2025. While sharing the trailer of the show, the platform wrote on Instagram “In the bustling town of Betalgadh, Laxmi’s life takes a shocking turn. From a simple homemaker to the queen of a dangerous empire, her journey is filled with unexpected twists, secrets, and high-stakes risks. Will her courage and determination be enough to protect her family? Or will the deadly game of power and crime take everything from her? Watch Griha Laxmi on 16th January only on EPIC ON.” 

About Griha Laxmi

The story follows the journey of Laxmi, who is an ordinary wife, gets into the world of drugs and crime after life takes an unexpected turn. She is on this journey to support her family so she transforms into the queen of an illicit empire. The show also stars Chunky Panday, Rahul Dev and Dibyendu Bhattacharya in key roles. The crime thriller has been directed by Rumaan Kidwai. 

In an interview with Hindustan Times, Hina talked about her character and said “It's not that she wants harm for anyone or she wants to kill people. In fact, something like this happens, and she's the one who gets devastated because she's not that person. She just wants to enjoy power. I took a lot of, I wouldn't say, inspiration, but little tiny bits from my own journey, like, how when things don't go as planned, and when, when you go through tough times in life, adversity, like, how do you deal with it? What gives you that strength and courage? What keeps you going? And what is that one point where you take that different call.”
