Sima Taparia is back to her matchmaking duties, helping Indians around the world find suitable partners, but this time her focus is on single Indians residing in the UK. Recently, Netflix released the trailer for the third season of Indian Matchmaking, which features Sima Taparia as she meets with single men and women, along with their parents, presenting them with potential matches. The first season of the show made Sima famous, as it educated viewers worldwide about how matchmakers organise arranged marriages in India.

Many people have criticised the initial seasons of the programme for celebrating outdated techniques in terms of matchmaking. However, a significant portion of the viewership enjoys watching the reality show for its entertaining content.

Here's the trailer of Indian Matching Season 3:

The comments section was inundated with fans expressing their mixed feelings about the upcoming season. One user remarked, "Oh the guilty pleasure is back!!!," while a second wrote, "This is the reason why Netflix is not growing in India... horrible content." A third commented, "Pathetic content coming again." However, a fourth added, "Can't wait," while a fifth shared, "Love this show they will never run out of Indian characters to matchmake around the world." Aparna Shewakramani, who appeared on the show's first two seasons before severing ties with Sima, commented, "Cringe. Gonna watch it?!"

In 2020, Indian Matchmaking premiered and became one of the many shows that amassed a significant following during the pandemic. In a previous conversation with Today, Sima had discussed her role in the matchmaking process and stated, "When the stars are aligned, that is the story. This is all destiny, nothing is in my hands. If the destiny is there, if the couple is aligned together, then it happens. But my way is just to show them the biodata and to match them, that's all. In India, they say birth, marriage and death — these three things are not in our hands. These three things God has taken (and) a human being cannot do anything."
