Katrina Kaif is currently celebrating the success of her latest action film 'Tiger 3'. The actress received a lot of praise for her portrayal of Zoya and her stellar action sequences. She is all set to star in the thriller film 'Merry Christmas' along with Vijay Sethupathi and the movie has created a lot of excitement ever since its announcement. Katrina recently attended the prestigious Red Sea Film Festival in Jeddah, where she talked about 'Merry Christmas' and her experience of working with Vijay Sethupathi.

Sharing her pictures from the Red Sea Film Festival, Katrina wrote, "A day at @redseafilm So wonderful to see what a stunning festival @jomanaaalrashid and @moalturki have created in the Kingdom, the most warm and gracious hosts. Taking away so many wonderful memories.”

Talking about working with Vijay Sethupathi, Katrina said, "It was always to work with him (Vijay Sethupathi) and I got the opportunity in Merry Christmas to work with it. It was phenomenal, by far the most difficult film I have ever done. Definitely, the character took a lot out of me but the experience was he really challenges you as an actor. Also, it's a bilingual film. We shot the film in Hindi and Tamil."

She added, "In Tamil version, I have actually spoken in Tamil so it was two takes for whatever you were doing and that was really challenging but exciting. My co-star Vijay Sethupathi is so phenomenal. When we would do the Hindi take, he would be fantastic but when we would do the Tamil take, there would be a different actor."

Katrina earlier talked about the possible spin-off for her character Zoya from the 'Tiger' franchise. While speaking to Pinkvilla about the stand-alone film on Zoya, Katrina said, “I can’t speak of it. Mum is the word. Secrets.”

Talking about 'Merry Christmas', the movie was supposed to release in December 2023 but has been postponed to January 2024 to avoid a clash with several big-budgeted movies releasing in the same month.
