Dhurandhar 2 First Review Out: Ram Gopal Varma has shared his first reaction to Dhurandhar: The Revenge, and his review is grabbing major attention online. After attending a preview of the film, the director praised it heavily, calling it a game-changer for Indian cinema. Ram Gopal Varma, who had earlier appreciated Dhurandhar, said the sequel has gone even further. Taking to social media platform X, he compared the film to classics like Sholay and Mughal-e-Azam, making bold claims about its impact.

Ram Gopal Varma wrote, “After last nights watch of #Dhurandhar2 in terms of it’s sheer cumulative impact in every which way, whether on it’s expected collections, audience euphoria, social influences, cinematic grammar breaking, and above all the psychological audio visual impact, it will be a SHOLAY x 100 level magnificence and is bound to make all the greatest films made so far starting from MUGHAL E AZAM. onwards look like TV SERIALS.” Continuing his praise, Varma went on to call it a turning point in cinema. He said, “This is the BIRTH of a NEW CINEMATIC ORDER and the ruthless extinction of everything that that ever existed before in the previous WORLD of CINEMA.”

Trade experts predict earnings of around Rs 45–50 crore from paid previews alone, despite it being a weekday release.
