The show marks a significant milestone as it is the first OTT production from acclaimed filmmaker Rajkumar Hirani, known for blockbusters like 3 Idiots and Munna Bhai M.B.B.S.

How Vir Hirani Bagged His Debut Role?
Ahead of the premiere, Rajkumar Hirani revealed that his son Vir landed the role of Pritam purely on merit through a proper audition process. Vir, who previously gained praise for his theatre performance in Feroz Abbas Khan's Letters of Suresh, caught the attention of director Avinash Arun.
Rajkumar Hirani explained, “Vir wasn’t even in the series when we started the process... Then I spoke to Vir. I told him he has to meet Avinash since he is directing, if he’s interested. Then Avinash went and saw his play that he was doing with Feroz Abbas Khan. After that, he shot at least 40–50 scenes and showed Avinash, and one day Avinash told me we should take him.”

About Pritam And Pedro
Directed by Avinash Arun of Paatal Lok fame, Pritam and Pedro is inspired by the books Hidden Files and Return of the Trojan Horse by Amit Dubey.
The plot revolves around two completely opposite personalities Pedro, played by Arshad Warsi, and Pritam, played by Vir Hirani who are forced to team up to solve a high-profile kidnapping case. The series also stars an ensemble supporting cast, including Vikrant Massey, Boman Irani, and Mona Singh.
