Mrunal Thakur was recently seen in R .Balki's segment in Netflix's 'Lust Stories 2’.' The film revolves around the significance of lust and s*x in nurturing successful relationships. Mrunal Thakur's on-screen chemistry with Neena Gupta as her grandmother and Angad Bedi as her fiancé were highly appreciative.

According to a report in the Hindustan Times, the actress recently shared her views on s*x talks with teens being important for parents. She said, "I strongly believe that having mature conversations about s*x and lust is key, especially when one is young and growing up. When one is a young adult, they have a role model who instills the right knowledge and information to a young person."

She further said, "If all young and impressionable minds, including kids within families, have at least one person they can have honest discussions with about these topics, they will be less likely to seek a plethora of misinformation from the outside world."

In the film, Mrunal Thakur essays the role of a soon-to-be-wedded woman who finds herself hilariously being confronted by her grandmother about her 'lust equation' with her fiancé, essayed by Angad Bedi.

'Lust Stories 2' explores the concepts of modern-day relationships and the degrees of complexities coming with physical attraction. 'Lust Stories 2' is an anthology film of four stories directed by Konkona Sen Sharma, Amit Ravindernath Sharma, Sujoy Ghosh, and R Balki respectively.

The cast of the film includes Kajol, Vijay Varma, Tamannaah Bhatia, Tillotama Shome, Amruta Subhash, Neena Gupta, and Kumud Mishra. 

Mrunal Thakur also revealed that she will be seen sharing the screen space with Vijay Deverakonda in Parasuram Petla's to-be-yet-titled project, which is produced by Sri Venkateswara Creations.  She recently wrapped the shoot of a film with Nani.

Sharing her experience, she said, "I'm elated and excited to be part of this project. It's a heartwarming story and the team backing the project is immensely talented. I'm looking forward to working with Nani. It's an interesting curve, given I did the remake of Jersey last year, a film Nani originally starred in."

Mrunal Thakur was last seen in 'Gumrah' opposite Aditya Roy Kapur, where the film was directed by Vardhan Ketkar and did a below-average run at the box office. The actress also has 'Pooja Meri Jaan', 'Pippa', and 'Aankh Micholi’.
