Akshaye Khanna has left fans talking about his portrayal of Rehman Dakait and his entry scene in Dhurandhar. He has taken over the internet, sparking a meme fest among fans. As the film's antagonist, making headlines for an outstanding performance in Aditya Dhar's directorial, actor Akshay Kumar had a savage response to those crediting him for showing the industry an amazing actor like Akshaye Khanna. The duo previously worked in Farah Khan’s 2010 film Tees Maar Khan, and fans have been digging out old scenes, one of which features Akshay and Akhaye from that film.
On Friday, a fan took to his X handle and shared a scene from Tees Maar Khan, in which Akshay Kumar pretends to be a filmmaker and approaches Akshaye Khanna, who plays an actor for a film. Sharing the still, a fan wrote, “Thank you director saab, for giving the nation such an amazing actor.." Akshay, in his witty style, replied, “Kabhi ghamand nahi kiya bhai…kabhi ghamand nahi kiya."

On December 10, Akshay shared his review after watching Dhurandhar. On his X, he wrote, "Watched Dhurandhar and I’m blown away. What a gripping tale and you’ve simply nailed it @AdityaDharFilms. We need our stories to be told in a hard-hitting way and I’m so glad the audiences are giving the film all the love it deserves."

Akshaye amazed everyone with his dance moves, which he himself improvised for his entry on the energetic track FA9LA, written and performed by Bahraini-based hip-hop rapper Flipperachi and produced by DJ Outlaw. After the clip went viral, some fans dug up an old video of his father, the late actor Vinod Khanna, from a 1989 event in Lahore, Pakistan. In the resurfaced video, Vinod can be seen dancing alongside Rekha and was joined by former Pakistan cricket captain and ex-Prime Minister Imran Khan. Fans believed Akshaye copied his father's signature moves and called him a father like son.
