Actress Ameesha Patel is all praise for Dhurandhar The Revenge. She called Aditya Dhar's success as an 'eye-opener' for the industry and urged filmmakers to focus on making movies and not 'projects'. Patel's remarks came at a point when The Revenge has been dominating the cinemas worldwide. The movie has raked in more than Rs 900 crore in a week, becoming the fastest film to achieve this milestone.
On Tuesday, Ameesha Patel took to her X account and wrote, "Eye opener. Industry Praising DHURANDHAR is wow and the brand deserves all the accolades (applause emoticons) industry needs to realise that ADITYA made a film and not a project, casted actors and not instagrammars who trend at parties. Stop making projects and start making films."

Earlier, Kangana Ranaut also praised Dhurandhar 2 via her IG story. The actress and BJP leader referred Aditya Dhar as a 'superstar filmmaker' and highlighted that the biggest achievement of the film’s success was establishing Dhar as a top director. Kangana added that similar to Hollywood, where directors like Spielberg, Tarantino and Nolan often overshadow actors, a superstar director carries more influence than a superstar actor.
She wrote on Instagram, "The best thing about Dhurandhar's success is that Aditya Dhar, @adityadharfilms, a superstar director, is established. Hollywood superstar directors are always far bigger than superstar actors. Eg: Spielberg, Tarantino, Nolan (sic)."
