Baaghi 4 Vs The Bengal Files Movie Release Highlights: Tiger Shroff Or Vivek Agnihotri’s Movie, Who Is Ahead In Box Office Race?

Vivek Agnihotri's directorial The Bengal Files has finallu hit the screens after overcoming all the hurdles. The director in a recent interview with India Blooms, said that it is his boldest and honest film that he ever made on Hindu genocide. When asked about why he chose to 1940s communal violence as the topic, Agnihotri told the news outlet, "It is because I feel the politics that led to the Partition of India is in full swing in Bengal after 78 years and that was evident during the trailer launch, where attempts were made to suppress people's voice. The Bengal Files is the boldest and most honest film ever made on Hindu genocide. The audiences across 12 American cities watched the film and chanted Joy Maa Kali and Vande Mataram. Every Bengali person said this is the biggest service one could ever do for the glory of Bengal but the voices are suppressed just to appease certain groups. We all have witnessed how the programme was disrupted by police. The cables were even snapped!" 

Akshay Kumar shared an Instagram story in which he send love and best wishes to his friends, producer Sajid Nadiadwala, lead actor Tiger Shroff and Sunit Morarjee. Akshay Kumar wrote, "Hearing #Baaghi4 = Full-on action-wala hungama! Wishing all the very best to my friends Sajid, #tigerjackieshroff & #sunitmorarjee, set the screens on fire!"

Vivek Agnihotri's directorial The Bengal Files has hit the screens today. Amid its good response and buzz online, there is an update that came across about its OTT release. According to reports, The Bengal Files is set to stream on Zee5 post theatrical run. 

Harnaaz Sandhu, who made her acting debut with Tiger Shroff's Baaghi 4, said, "Shooting for 'Marjaana' was one of the most emotionally demanding experiences I've had so far. Unlike the other songs in Baaghi 4, this one wasn't about dance or glamour, it was about stillness, about silence, about letting the ache show in my eyes." 

She added, "There was a lot to learn and explore as I was embodying Alisha both as a memory and a woman going through a trial. It is thrilling to experience how powerful cinema can be while depicting the tough moments of life. Marjaana gave me space to be vulnerable, and I hope that honesty connects with the audience the way it connected with me while shooting."

Vivek Agnihotri's directorial The Bengal Files released worlwide today. The film, which attracted controversy over its alleged portrayal of the 1946 Calcutta riot, has not been screened in any major theatres in Kolkata. As per reports, the ticket booking platform BookMyShow is not showing option to book a ticket. 

Talking about this matter, Director of Navina Cinema, Navin Choukhani told NDTV that they have prior commitment with Baaghi 4. He further mentioned that bengali film Dhumketu is already performing well for them. 

Likewise, Arijit Dutta of Priya Cinema stated that they can't run several films in single screen and will run Baaghi 4 along with two bengali films. 

Last Month, the Bengal Government suggested a new rule where all theatres should screen atleast one film everyday. 

Baaghi 4 Box Office Prediction Day 1: Tiger Shroff and Harnaaz Sandhu starrer movie has been receiving well repsonses from the audiences so far. According to a report by Koimoi, the film is expected to make between Rs 9 to 11 crores on opening day. As of now, Baaghi 4 is ahead of The Bengal Files, interms of opening day box office prediction. 

As per industry trackers, the political drama is set to have a collection between Rs 1 to 2 crore on the opening day until now. It seems the film won't be able to break the records of the second part of 'The Files' triology, The Kashmir Files, which earned Rs 3.35 crore on day 1. 

Anupam Kher, who is starred in The Bengal Files, shared his excitement on the release of the movie today. He congratulated director Vivek Agnihotri and the entire team for the same. Kher urged fans to watch the 'important films' in theatres.
