The movie which is scheduled to hit theatres on April 17, 2026, has hit the internet by storm since its announcement. Now with its first song release announcement, it has intensified the buzz among fans.
Salman Khan Films took to Instagram to share the teaser with the caption, “#Maatrubhumi out tomorrow.” The full track Maatrubhumi is set to release tomorrow on January 24, 2026. Opening with the resonating sound of a military bugle, the teaser instantly evokes a deep sense of patriotism, setting an emotionally charged tone that pays homage to the spirit of the nation. The 15-second teaser of the song offers a stirring glimpse into sacrifice, courage, and unwavering love for the motherland. The song which will be released on Salman Khan Films’ Music Channel features an exceptional creative collaboration. Composed by Himesh Reshammiya, the lyrics are penned by Sameer Anjaan’s with the soulful voices of Arijit Singh and Shreya Ghoshal.

Battle of Galwan is produced by Salman Khan Films. Helmed by Apoorva Lakhia, the film also stars Chitrangada Singh in a pivotal role. The movie is based on Colonel Bikkumalla Santosh Babu. He was a key player in the 2020 Galwan Valley clash, which took place between Chinese and Indian forces in Eastern Ladakh. He was the commanding officer of the 16 Bihar Regiment then. For his exceptional bravery during the bloody conflict he has also been awarded with Maha Vir Chakra.
