Bigg Boss 20: Popular stand-up comedian and actor Sunil Pal has reportedly been approached by the makers of Bigg Boss 20 to join the upcoming season as a contestant. The news comes shortly after Colors TV and JioHotstar officially announced the milestone 20th season of Indian television's biggest reality show.

Sunil Pal Approached For Bigg Boss 20

Following the successful conclusion of Bigg Boss 19 which saw television actor Gaurav Khanna take home the trophy the producers are actively curating a high-profile contestant lineup. Hosted by superstar Salman Khan, the landmark 20th season aims to bring together a mix of seasoned actors, internet creators, and entertainment personalities.

According to reports in News18 Showsha, Sunil Pal, winner of the inaugural season of The Great Indian Laughter Challenge has been approached by the team. While formal contracts are yet to be finalised, the veteran comedian is reportedly in advanced discussions and is likely to enter the Bigg Boss house.

In addition to Sunil Pal, former actress Geeta Basra is also rumoured to be in talks with the production team for the upcoming season.

Bigg Boss 20 Motion Logo Unveiled

Promoting the new season, JioHotstar and Colors TV unveiled a vibrant motion logo for Bigg Boss 20. The refreshed eye design features multi-coloured elements, signalling a festive overhaul for the franchise's two-decade milestone.

Teasing the grand return, the makers posted, “2 decades later… still the most eye-conic one. #BiggBoss20, jald aa raha hai!”

In a major strategic expansion, JioStar recently revealed that six regional language editions of the Bigg Boss franchise: Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, and Bangla will launch simultaneously across the JioStar television network and JioHotstar in September 2026.
