Border 2 Cast Fees: The much-awaited teaser of Border 2 was unveiled yesterday and it has generated immense buzz online. Starring Sunny Deil, Varun Dhawan, Ahan Shetty and Diljit Dosanjh in key roles, the war-drama is a spiritual sequel to 1997’s classic Border. Border 2 also features Mona Singh, Sonam Bajwa, Anya Singh and newcomer Medha Rana. Now since the release date is nearing now fans are wondering after Sunny Deol who is the highest paid actor in the movie.
According to reports, the lead actor Sunny Deol has charged Rs 50 crore, making him the highest paid actor of Border 2. The second highest paid actor is reportedly Varun Dhawan. He has charged Rs 8-10 crore followed by Diljit Dosanjh has reportedly been paid Rs 4-5 crore. Furthermore, Mona Singh reportedly charged Rs 1-2 crore. Actress Sonam Bajwa has reportedly charged Rs 1 crore each. Meanhwile, Ahan Shetty and other actors' cast fees have not been revealed yet. If these reports are to be believed then after Sunny Deol, Varun Dhawan is the highest-paid actor in Border 2.
Meanwhile, Sunny Deol in Border 2 teaser is heard saying, “Tum jahan se bhi ghusne ki koshish karoge, zameen se, aasmaan se, samundar se-saamne ek Hindustani fauji khada paoge”. In the teaser, Sunny Deol takes the role of a fearless Army officer, bringing back memories of his iconic role in the original Border. Varun Dhawan portrays the character of an Indian military officer, while Ahan Shetty plays a key role in the Indian Navy. Furthermore, Diljit Dosanjh is dressed as an Indian Air Force officer.

Directed by Anurag Singh, this new instalment shifts focus to the 1971 Indo-Pak war. Presented by Gulshan Kumar and T-Series in collaboration with JP Dutta’s JP Films, the film is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, JP Dutta, and Nidhi Dutta. Scheduled for a cinema release on January 23, 2026, just before the Republic Day weekend, Border 2 is set to be a cinematic tribute to the bravery and ultimate sacrifice of Indian soldiers.
