BTS are set to make a highly anticipated full-group comeback with a grand concert at Gwanghwamun Square on March 21, 2026. The event, titled BTS THE COMEBACK LIVE | ARIRANG, marks the first time in years that all seven members: RM, Jin, SUGA, j-hope, Jimin, V and Jungkook will perform together on stage. The excitement surrounding the concert is enormous, with authorities expecting a crowd of up to 2,60,000 people. Due to the scale of the event, safety and crowd management have become major priorities. Even Lee Jae-Myung stepped in to address fans, known as ARMY, ahead of the concert.

In a special message shared on March 18, the President called BTS "South Korea's proud artists" and described the concert as a meaningful celebration of the country’s culture and heritage under the theme of Arirang. However, he also highlighted the importance of safety, confirming that multiple government departments are working together to ensure the event runs smoothly. To manage the large crowd, authorities have planned detailed arrangements. The venue will be divided into four sections Core Zone, Hot Zone, Warm Zone and Cold Zone to control movement and avoid overcrowding. Police will be deployed in large numbers, CCTV surveillance will be increased, and emergency teams will be on standby throughout the event.

The President also addressed concerns about illegal ticket sales. He urged fans to report any cases of ticket scalping, stating that such practices "disrupt market order". His message aimed to ensure fair access for fans and prevent exploitation during the high-demand event.

The concert will take place at Gwanghwamun Square, a historic location in central Seoul, near the iconic Gyeongbokgung Palace. While around 13,000 fans will be inside the main performance area, the rest will watch through large public screens set up nearby. Adding to the excitement, BTS will perform songs from their upcoming album ARIRANG, releasing on March 20. The concert will also be streamed live globally on Netflix, making it a landmark event for both fans and the global music industry.
