Daldal OTT Release: Bhumi Pednekkar is currently gearing up for her upcoming crime-thriller web series Daldal. The Badhaai Do actress took to her Instgram to share the teaser and it has already generated significant buzz online. Directed by Amrit Raj Gupta and produced by Vikram Malhotra and Suresh Triveni under the banner of Abundantia Entertainment production, the web series is described as a powerful psychological crime thriller. 

Bhumi Pednekkar shared the teaser with the caption, “Suffocating. Unsettling. Captivating. Get ready to be pulled in.” The web series will stream on Prime Video on January 30, 2026. Created by Triveni, Daldal is written by Sreekanth Agneeaswaran, Rohan D’Souza, and Priya Saggi. The web series features Bhumi Satish Pednekkar as DCP Rita Ferreira along with Samara Tijori and Aditya Rawal in leading roles. The web series will premiere in India and across 240 countries and territories worldwide.

Daldal Storyline

Based on Vish Dhamija’s bestselling book Bhendi Bazaar, the web series is set against the backdrop of Mumbai. Daldal follows Rita Ferreira, Mumbai Crime Branch’s newly appointed DCP, portrayed by Bhumi Satish Pednekkar, as she finds herself facing a cold-blooded killer in a high-stakes game of survival. Daldal centers on DCP Rita Ferreira, a cop driven by justice yet haunted by guilt and the demons of her past, as she is drawn into a chilling pursuit of a cold-blooded killer.

Additonally, the teaser plunges audiences into a world where violence and psychological dread doesn’t just shock, it lingers. The atmospheric teaser reveals victims brutally murdered – wrists slashed; mouths grotesquely stuffed with raw pieces of meat, mobile phones, and other objects; each crime exposing a deeply twisted psyche. As the investigation deepens, Rita finds herself caught between the savagery of the case and her own inner turmoil, while also confronting biases within the force.
