Farhan Akhtar's much-anticipated movie Jee Le Zaraa, starring Priyanka Chopra, Katrina Kaif and Alia Bhatt, is finally back on the road after a long pause. After Ranveer Singh's rumoured exit from Akhtar's Don 3, the actor-filmmaker is solely focusing on this other dream project. According to reports, Farhan has currently paused the cast search for Don 3 as he wants to star an actor who absolutely goes with the movie's theme. The report also talked about new developments in Jee Le Zaraa.
Amid Ranveer Singh's alleged walkout from Farhan Akhtar's Don 3 after Dhurandhar's massive success, Akhtar has revealed how he is in no hurry to cast another star as Ranveer's replacement. According to a report by Pinkvilla, "Farhan feels the casting of Don is crucial. He wants to be absolutely sure about who steps into the role and it's a longer process."

The report further noted that the Bhaag Milkha Bhaag actor is reconnecting with his leading ladies, Priyanka Chopra, Katrina Kaif, and Alia Bhatt, to finalise the last bit of this exciting project. It also read, "Jee le Zaraa has always been special for Farhan. With Don 3 taking time at the casting stage, he felt this was the right moment to revive discussions with the original team and push the film forward."
The movie is not moving forward despite being ready and locked because the dates do not align with the actress's schedule. The report further stated, "If the dates align, the film could finally go on floors in the second half of 2026. Creatively, everything is in place and it's now about managing schedules." On the brighter side, “Farhan has started discussions with all three actresses and is hopeful their timelines can align. Everyone is keen, it’s just about finding that common window.”
