Grammy Awards 2026 Snub APT: The 68th Grammy Awards are once again at the centre of discussion after Kpop artist was snubbed at the event. BLACKPINK’s Rose collaborated with the\ Grammy winning artist Bruno Mars on the hit song APT, which received three major nominations, but ended up becoming one of the biggest snubs at the Grammy Awards 2026. APT was nominated for Record of the Year, Song of the Year and Best Pop Duo/Group Performance. Despite these major nods, Rose and Mars went home empty-handed, leaving fans furious over the Recording Academy's decision.
Despite APT being ignored, Rosé still made Grammy history by becoming the first Kpop female soloist to be nominated in major categories at the Grammys. She also performed APT live at the Grammy ceremony along with Bruno Mars.

Rose APT Snub Sparks BTS Connection With Grammys
BLACKPINK’s Rose APT snub at the Grammy 2026 sparked discussion about the BTS connection. It reminded ARMYs of how BTS members have over the years, been kept away from a win despite delivering massive hit tracks and dominating the global music charts.
In the Best Pop Duo/Group Performance category, the nominees included HUNTR/X’s Golden from KPop Demon Hunters, Katseye's Gabriela, Rosé and Bruno Mars’ APT, SZA with Kendrick Lamar’s 30 for 30, and Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande’s Defying Gravity. The award went to Cynthia and Ariana's Defying Gravity.

In 2021, BTS became the first Kpop act to receive a Grammy nomination in the same category for their track Dynamite.
