Legendary actor Dharmendra’s death came as a shock and heartbreak for the entire nation. His fans, family and entire film fraternity came together to mourn the loss of Bollywood's 'He-Man'. After his last rites, the Deol family organised two different prayer meets, which sparked widespread speculations and assumptions about the family's dynamics. Months later, Hema Malini has come forward to put an end to all these rumours. The actress shared how the decision was discussed wisely between the family and she also urged fans not to worry about them.
Hema Malini recently opened up about the family's decision to organise two different prayer meets. In a conversation with The Times of India, she said, "Yeh hamaare ghar ka personal mamla hai (this is our family’s personal matter). We spoke to each other. I held a prayer meet at my home because my circle of people is different. Then I organised one in Delhi because I am in politics, and it was important for me to host a prayer meeting there for my friends from that field. Mathura is my constituency, and the people there are very fond of him. So I held a prayer meet there as well. I am happy with what I did."

She also opened up about Sunny Deol's plan to honour his father. She added, "I think Sunny is planning something along those lines, and he will definitely do it. Everything is happening nicely. So there’s no need to worry ki yeh do alag families hai, pata nahi kya hoga. Kisiko itni fikar karne ki zaroorat nahi hai. Hum log ekdum ache hai (there are two different families, what will happen now? There's no need to worry about us, we are all fine)."
