Shilpa Shinde Fake Allegations: Television actress Hina Khan has reacted strongly to fellow actress Shilpa Shinde’s recent confession about filing false sexual harassment allegations against TV producer Sanjay Kohli. During a recent appearance on a popular podcast hosted by Bharti Singh and Haarsh Limbachiyaa, Shilpa admitted that her 2016 molestation claims against the Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain! producer were entirely fabricated. She claimed she made the false accusations because she felt cornered during a bitter contractual dispute and had no other option to get out of her contract.

Although Hina Khan did not mention Shilpa by name in her public response, she shared her deep disappointment on her social media accounts. Hina explained that she usually avoids commenting on the private business of other industry professionals, but felt compelled to speak out due to the serious social impact the situation has on women. Hina wrote on her X account, "I usually never talk about anyone, I never comment or react on someone else’s business, I only and only speak up when it is about something sensitive, something that affects all of us as a society especially as women.. As someone who enjoys public light and has a position to speak up, I must do my bit.”
Hina Khan expressed deep sympathy for the producer, stating, "Yes, using your sex to malign someone’s image in order to Win during a conflict is absolutely shameful. And everyone is Absolutely Right to Call it out and demand Justice. I am shocked beyond words."
She went on to add, "But I want to talk about the “Real Victim” here. A respected Man with a wife, a daughter and many other women in his family.. A real hardworking producer with many iconic shows. Who went through such an ordeal. As admitted by the Female Actor, her allegations were not just baseless they were used to gain advantage, to win, to score, to claim, to settle without the utilisation of Law.”
Hina Khan also expressed her utter shock that the same production team chose to welcome Shilpa back to the sitcom in 2025. She questioned, "And even after that, the SAME producer gives the SAME show to the SAME person. Another LAUNCHPAD, another MOUTHPIECE, another RELEVANCE, another CHANCE to legitimise her Fake Claim of SEXUAL ASSAULT. What if the actor repeats it? After all the actor has been given the same show by the one she FALSELY ACCUSED. I am appalled.”
Hina Khan concluded her thoughts with the short caption, “The joke is on us,” highlighting her frustration with how the television industry handles such sensitive matters.
Interestingly, Hina Khan and Shilpa Shinde previously starred together in Bigg Boss Season 11 back in 2017, where Shilpa won the trophy and Hina finished as the first runner-up. The two stars were known for frequently arguing and rarely got along during their time on the reality show.
