Dhurandhar: Hrithik Roshan has become the latest Bollywood star to praise Dhurandhar, Aditya Dhar’s intense action-thriller starring Ranveer Singh. The film, which is already receiving strong reviews and impressive box office numbers, has now earned appreciation from Roshan, who shared his honest thoughts on social media. Despite acknowledging political differences with the narrative, the actor described the film’s storytelling and performances as exceptional.
Hrithik took to Instagram Stories to express his admiration for Dhurandhar. In his post, he applauded the film’s execution and the commitment shown by the team. He wrote, “I love cinema, I love people who climb into a vortex and let the story take control, spin them shake them until what they want to say is purged out of them onto that screen. DHURANDAR is an example of that. Loved the storytelling. It’s cinema.” He then shared that while he does not agree with the film’s political perspective, it didn’t stop him from admiring the craftsmanship. He added, “I may disagree with the politics of it, and argue about the responsibilities us filmmakers should bear as citizens of the world. Nevertheless, can’t ignore how I loved and learnt from this one as a student of cinema. Amazing.” His comments sparked mixed reactions online, with many debating the balance between political messaging and cinematic expression.

Meanwhile, a day later, Hrithik once again posted about the movie, praising its cast and technical brilliance. This time, he also revealed his excitement for a potential sequel. Roshan wrote, “Still can’t get DHURANDHAR out of my mind. @adityadharfilms you are an incredible maker man. @ranveersingh the silent to the fierce what a journey and so damn consistent. #akshaykhanna has always been my fav and this film is proof why.” He continued by applauding the rest of the cast, “@actormaddy bloody mad grace, strength and dignity! Dhurandhar Cast, Plot And Box Office
Released on December 5, Dhurandhar features Ranveer Singh in the lead alongside Akshaye Khanna, R. Madhavan, Arjun Rampal, Sanjay Dutt, Sara Arjun and Rakesh Bedi, with several others in supporting roles. The story follows Hamza Ali Mazari, a mysterious Indian spy who infiltrates Karachi’s criminal underworld. The official synopsis says, “After the hijacking of IC-814 in 1999 and Parliament attack 2001, India’s Intelligence Bureau Chief – Ajay Sanyal devices an indomitable mission to intrude and rupture the terrorist network in Pakistan, by infiltrating the underworld mafia of Karachi.” The film has taken the box office by storm, touching nearly Rs 200 crore in just six days.
