The controversy around Nora Fatehi’s song Sarke Chunar has taken a serious turn, even reaching Parliament. The government has reportedly taken action by banning the Hindi version and removing it from YouTube. Amid the growing backlash, Nora Fatehi has finally reacted, sharing a detailed video on social media to clarify her side of the story and address the ongoing issue.

Nora Fatehi’s Statement After Sarke Chunar Controversy

In her video, Nora clearly stated that she has no connection with the Hindi version of the song. She revealed, “I shot this song in Kannada three years ago; I have nothing to do with the Hindi version. The makers translated a different thing to me, and nothing seemed inappropriate and vulgar,r as I don't know the Kannada language. ” She also accused the makers of releasing the Hindi version without her permission or knowledge.

Nora Alleged Makers For Not Being Clear

Nora claimed that the producers never informed her before translating or releasing the song in Hindi. She said, “I was neither asked for permission nor informed.” According to her, the controversy is entirely linked to the Hindi adaptation, not the original Kannada version she worked on.

Anger Over AI-Generated Images

The actress also expressed strong displeasure over AI-generated images used for promotion. She revealed that photos featuring her and Sanjay Dutt were created artificially.

She said, “They created a photo of Sanjay Sir and me—I got angry when I saw it.” She also mentioned being strongly against such practices.

Earlier Warned The Director 

Nora shared that she had already warned the director about the Hindi version. She stated, “I had already said that I wouldn't promote this as it would raise questions about my image.” She added that her concerns were ignored despite raising objections earlier.

Thanked Fans And Calls for Accountability

At the end of the video, Nora thanked fans for supporting her and opposing the song. She said, “Thank you all, I will be more cautious from now on.” She also urged people to hold filmmakers responsible instead of blaming artists.

Nora also revealed that she is dealing with a personal loss, sharing that someone close to her recently passed away, making this time emotionally difficult for her.
