Television actress Jaswir Kaur, who is currently seen in the famous TV show Anupama, has shared a difficult phase in her life when she was asked to leave the popular crime show CID. In an interview, the actress has revealed how she was suddenly asked to leave the show after working on it for almost two years. Jaswir has stated that it was an emotionally difficult phase for her, and it took her several months to get over the shock.

During her chat on YouTuber Subhojit Ghosh’s channel, Jaswir Kaur opened up about the situation. She revealed that she had been working continuously on the show. There were times when she had to be on set every Friday and Saturday without any breaks. There were also times when the situation got really hectic, and they were on set for 30 to 31 days straight. However, after working on the show for almost two years, Jaswir was given the news that her character was being removed. 

Jaswir opened up that the production team told her that they were receiving complaints about her behaviour on set. She revealed that they told her, "My attitude is wrong. aapka walk kharab hai. Aap galat chalti hain." They also told her that she was throwing the script on the floor because she had no lines and was using foul language. Jaswir revealed that she was really surprised by the allegations against her and wanted to know when she had done these things.

Negotiations And Emotional Struggles

The actress further revealed that there were talks about the situation for almost 45 days. Finally, she was summoned for a meeting in which there were several people, and the final call on her exit from the show was taken. 

Jaswir also spoke about how tough that time was for her. She revealed that her mother was always there for her during that tough time, and it took her almost three months to get over the situation emotionally.

Years Of Financial Struggles

Talking about her early career struggles, Jaswir shared that she spent several years just trying to survive. She said, “7 saal tak maine sirf survival kiya.” According to the actress, there were times when she did not even have ₹100 with her, but she still had to pay ₹800 in taxes. She also recalled sitting on the floor and crying, unsure about what the future held.

Jaswir Kaur’s Television Career

Despite the challenges, Jaswir continued working in television and has appeared in various successful television shows. Some of the shows she has featured in include Ganga, Ishq Ka Rang Safed, The Adventures of Hatim, and Ghar Ki Lakshmi Betiyann. She is currently featuring in the Star Plus hit show Anupama as Devika Mehta.
