Aishwarya Mohanraj mustered the courage to talk about her sudden weight loss transformation. Many individuals have been interested in learning how she dropped so many kilos. The well-known comedian and influencer has acknowledged that she used Mounjaro to help her lose weight, going from 74 kg to 52 kg. Amid strong criticism, Soha Ali Khan commended Aishwarya for bravely disclosing the truth about her weight loss journey.
Soha Ali Khan noted, 'so finally someone said it', referring to the openness about using medication rather than attributing weight loss solely to diet and exercise. She added that such honesty required courage, especially in an industry where transformation stories are often simplified.
Soha Ali Khan, however, also stressed the need for caution. She reaffirmed that Mounjaro and Ozempic shouldn't be seen as quick cures for treatment or as social media fads.

Soha Ali Khan acknowledged that other elements besides willpower affect weight gain and loss, including thyroid issues, insulin resistance, hormonal imbalances, polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS), and metabolic diseases.
Additionally, Soha Ali Khan revealed that endocrinologist Dr Ambrish Mithal and nutritionist Dr Juhi Agarwal will be discussing the science, advantages, dangers, and myths around these medications in the upcoming edition of her podcast All About Her.
Meanwhile, Aishwarya Mohanraj talked about her battle to lose weight earlier this week, despite adhering to rigorous diets and exercise regimens. "My most insane and biggest insecurity was my double chin. I stopped making videos. I stopped coming online because I couldn’t see myself. I took this drug every week for 6 months. In these 6 months, my weight reduced from 74 kilograms to 52 kilograms. It’s rapid. It’s mad. It’s crazy and insane (sic)," she said.
Well-known filmmaker Hansal Mehta also talked about using the weight loss injection to control his growing weight and stabilise his blood sugar levels, which were moving into the pre-diabetic range. Last year, in a post on X (previously Twitter), he wrote, "In just a few months, I’m down nearly 10 kilos. My muscle mass has significantly improved, my energy levels are higher, and my blood sugar readings are now well within the normal range. Insulin resistance has dropped, and yes, the old clothes are falling off!"
