Dhurandhar 3 Release: The Indian film industry is currently buzzing with the massive success of Dhurandhar 2 The Revenge. Since its release on March 19, 2026, the spy thriller has set the box office on fire, reportedly raking in a gross collection of Rs 454 crore within just its first four days. However, as fans celebrate Ranveer Singh’s powerhouse performance, a new wave of speculation has taken over social media that is a third instalment already on the way?

A viral report has been circulating across messaging platforms and social media sites, claiming that Dhurandhar 3 is not only confirmed but has a release date of June 14, 2026. Upon fact-checking, these claims have been proven entirely false. The viral images and posters appearing online are either fan-made or sophisticated fakes. There has been no official announcement from director Aditya Dhar, lead star Ranveer Singh, or the production house regarding a third film. While the second part features an open ending that leaves room for future stories, the specific June release date is nothing more than an internet hoax.

Mukesh Chhabra Responds To Dhurandhar 3 Release

Meanwhile, the rumours gained momentum after director Aditya Dhar posted a cryptic message on Instagram prior to the film's release, urging audiences, “Don’t leave your seats until the credits have stopped rolling.” While many took this as a hint for a sequel announcement, the mid-credits scenes actually served to expand the current story and provide emotional closure rather than confirming a new project.

Bohot sare rumours hai (Nothing of the sort is going to happen. There are a lot of rumours).” He further clarified that any official updates would be shared directly through verified channels like X (formerly Twitter).

On the other hand, the franchise, which began in 2025, follows the journey of Jaskirat Singh Rangi (alias Hamza Ali Mazari), an Indian undercover agent infiltrating the criminal underworld in Karachi. The movie stars Ranveer Singh in lead role and further features an ensemble cast which includes, Sara Arjun, Rakesh Bedi, Arjun Rampal, Yami Gautam, R Madhavan and many more.
