Lock Upp 2 On Netflix: The drama inside the Lock Upp 2 jail has reached a new high following the entry of content creator and actor Apoorva Mukhija, also known online as Rebel Kid.
Entering the reality show as a wildcard contestant, Apoorva immediately reignited a past rivalry with fellow contestant Shreya Kalra, demanding an apology as soon as she walked into the house.
Apoorva Makhija Demands An Apology From Shreya Kalra
Moments after being introduced by host Farah Khan, Apoorva Makhija looked directly at Shreya Kalra and said, "Sorry bolo." Apoorva Makhija also mocked Shreya Kalra over an earlier incident in the show where Shreya had withheld food from contestants who refused to apologise to her.
The clash between the two influencers stems from their participation in Netflix's Squid Game Creator's edition last year. Although they were on the same team and Shreya won the show, Shreya later criticised Apoorva’s attitude during an appearance on Uorfi Javed’s podcast.
Expressing her frustration over Apoorva Makhija's task performance, Shreya Kalra had stated, "I'm very angry with Rebel. If a show has invited you, it's because they expect you to contribute content. Here, she wasn't performing in the tasks; she didn't even want to play the game properly, and she was in my team."
Shreya Kalra further added, "That really frustrated me. If I'm going somewhere, even if I know I'm not going to win, I'll still give it my best. But she wasn't even willing to participate in the tasks."
Shreya Kalra further accused Apoorva of arrogance, adding, "She wasn't even able to do it. We lost that round because of her. Then why have you come here? If you've come, then give content; that's your USP. I felt I had always been nice to her. But her vibe was really off. It seemed like she felt she'd already achieved so much that she could look down on others. That's not how it works."
In response to the podcast, Apoorva Makhija took to her Instagram stories to defend herself, saying, "Guys, I recently played Squid Game Creator's edition with Netflix, and even though my brain-to-hand-and-leg coordination is non-existent, I still think I played really well. And by really well, I mean I talked a lot, and now a lot of people are talking about me on random podcasts because they didn't like my performance, but I had a lot of fun, and I think you will have a lot of fun because I am in the video."

Adding to the tension, Apoorva Makhija has joined the show as a gang leader for the group that Shreya Kalra is in. This gives Apoorva control over her gang’s food allocations and daily activities.
Addressing her decision to join Lock Upp 2, Apoorva Mukhija said, "I'm actually really nervous. I had promised myself I'd never do another captive reality show, but here I am. The truth is, I'm completely addicted to Lock Upp."
