Dhurandhar The Revenge, which debuted three months after Dhurandhar, is more sombre and gloomy than its predecessor. However, the spy thriller's introduction to the MMP leader Nawab Shafiq, who is based on former Pakistani Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and PPP leader Aquib Ali Zarwari's political rival, went viral. The actor who portrayed Nawab Shafiq looked exactly like the real-life Pak PM Nawaz Sharif. Let's find out more:

Dhurandhar 2 actor Mashhoor Amrohi's brief but memorable presence has put him at the centre of an unexpected viral moment. Memes abound on social media, with many viewers sarcastically questioning whether director Aditya Dhar persuaded Nawaz Sharif to star in the movie.

Mashhoor Amrohi is not at all like Pakistani Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif in real life. The change, which required more than eight hours of prosthetic work every day for four days in a row, was overseen by renowned makeup artist Preetisheel Singh. In order to achieve the necessary body weight and paunch, Amrohi also wore a bodysuit, which gave the character even more believability.

Dhurandhar 2 Casting Decision

Mukesh Chhabra told Hindustan Times that he and his team struck a balance between finding actors who looked like the characters and finding reliable performances. He said, "It depends on the role. In some roles, I went for physical appearance. But for others, I needed a great performer, and then we could make them look like the character. For instance, with Atif Ahmed, I wanted him to look like Atiq Ahmed. Of course, he also needed to act. So, it had to be a mix and match of both. Then, I knew (Danish Pandor, who plays) Uzair Baloch is a great actor, and you can create his look accordingly. There, we needed a good actor first."

The veteran casting director also attributed the hair and makeup artist Preetisheel Singh for the makeover.
