Moonwalk Release Date: An exciting box-office clash is brewing for the festive season. The makers of director Manoj NS’s upcoming film, Moonwalk, featuring Prabhudeva in the lead, have officially announced that the film will hit cinemas worldwide during Deepavali 2026.

The announcement has sparked huge excitement among fans, primarily because the project marks the silver-screen acting debut of Oscar-winning music maestro A.R. Rahman.

According to reports, A.R. Rahman will make a fun cameo appearance in the film alongside composing its soundtrack. Three tracks: 'Yethu', 'Tinga', and 'Macarena', have already been released to strong listener responses, with a fourth track titled 'Mayile' featuring both Rahman and Prabhudeva set to launch soon.

Adding an extra layer of intrigue to the festive release, Moonwalk is set to compete at the box office with Nitesh Tiwari's epic Ramayana: Part 1, starring Ranbir Kapoor, which is also scheduled for a massive Diwali release.
